Environmental Business portraits, or business location portraits, are back in session after the lull of the pandemic. Environmental portraits are location business portraits photographed using the facility’s onsite location as the background. Some location areas within an office that work well for the backgrounds are the corporate headquarters office, senior leadership offices or executive boardrooms.
On Site Business Headshots
This style of portraiture is unique as it represents you and your workplace environment. We recommend discussing your vision during a consultation. We offer a pre-scout meeting to discuss areas that would work well for the session(s), outlining a timeline for the sessions, and discussing clothing options and looks for your business portraits.
On session day, the set or photography area is pre lit with professional grade studio lighting equipment and reflectors. By using this type of lighting for the sessions we can give the individuals a soft, natural look in their images or even a dramatic look. We do not only depend on natural window light for on location portraits. With Michael’s extensive experience he knows how to balance the light to produce natural or dramatic looking results in the final images.
Before the sessions start, test images are presented for review before the subject(s) arrives on set. The entire session is photographed digitally, transferred and displayed on a tablet or MAC for selection purposes.
At the conclusion of the assignment, there is an opportunity to address any questions regarding retouching of your final images. Retouching of final images typically includes: stray hair removal, softening of character lines, and overall skin softening are a few examples.
