A professional Houston headshot photographer provides expert lighting, posing and direction to create a polished portrait that represents you professionally. We help you look natural in front of the camera while considering your goals, profession and how you want to be perceived.

Michael Carr has more than 30 years of professional photography experience and specializes in portrait lighting, posing and camera angles for different individuals and body types.

Our classic business portrait includes your session plus (1) selected 4×6 JPEG file with basic facial retouching. Once you have selected your final image, the final file image is sized as below:

Print files – * File will print up to a 4”x6” image.
4×6 @ 300 DPI in color

We recommend you know your image requirements or file specs before your session. In the event you need a different file size for your corporate headshot other than that indicated above, please forward your corporate headshot file size requirements to us before your scheduled appointment.

* Larger files and additional print files are available for an additional fee.

A Classic Business Portrait session takes approximately 15 minutes. During your time with Michael, you will review your portraits together on set to make sure you are happy with the results before you leave. You will then select your final image, which will be professionally prepared and delivered within two business days.

A Modern Casual Business Portrait session takes about 45 minutes.

An Executive Personal Branding session takes about 1-1.5 hours.

Yes. Companies with 10 or more individuals needing corporate headshots can request a custom quote based on the number of people, location, scheduling requirements, and overall project scope. A signed agreement, paid retainer, and completed charge authorization are all required before larger corporate sessions are confirmed. Without a signed agreement, paid retainer, and completed charge authorization, the bulk corporate headshot sessions will not be confirmed or scheduled.

Houston business headshot photography sessions are scheduled Tuesdays-Fridays. Sessions may be scheduled between 10:00am-4:00pm and are by appointment only.

A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your Houston corporate headshot session date and time with our Houston Headshot Photographers. This non-refundable retainer is applied to your final balance. Your final balance is due at the time of the session. Verbal appointments without paid retainers are not confirmed appointments.

RE-SCHEDULE POLICY: Should you need to re-schedule your session time, you must call the studio (713.461.2862) at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment so we can help you with the reschedule. Rescheduled sessions must take place within 60 days of the original session date.

Same day reschedules and no shows are billed in full.

If you are running late for your headshot photoshoot session, please call us ASAP at 713-461-2862. We will let you know when the next available time slot is for that day. Clients who arrive late to their scheduled appointments will be worked in as our schedule permits.

Yes. Premium on location corporate photography is available for Houston area companies and organizations requiring photography at their office or facility. Because location assignments require additional equipment, transportation, setup and production time, on location photography begins at $3,950. Assignments outside our standard Houston service area are custom quoted based on travel requirements and project scope

Feel free to contact the Houston Business Headshot Photography studio at 713-461-2862. A signed contract and completed charge authorization (with retainer) must be received by the studio at least 10 business days in advance of the on-location headshot session date and before the scheduled session date. Upon receipt of the signed agreement with a completed charge authorization (and confirmed retainer receipt) the on-location corporate headshot session date and times will be confirmed by the studio.

It is the studio’s policy to not go on location without the signed contract, paid non-refundable retainer, and completed charge authorization; no exceptions.

For wardrobe guidance, visit our Professional Headshot Clothing Guide. You will need to bring your own clothes and accessories for your corporate bio photoshoot as we do not have those items here for you to borrow.

Yes, there is an option to change clothes for your business headshots. Our Classic Business Portrait includes one outfit and one background.

For an additional fee you can upgrade your package to a Modern Casual Business Portrait session or extend your session to have multiple looks with a Personal Branding Portrait session.

Yes. We work with professional makeup artists who can provide hair and makeup services for your headshot or portrait session. These services can be arranged in advance when scheduling your appointment.

Come prepared with clean, well-fitting clothing that reflects your professional style. Solid colors and simple patterns photograph well. If you are unsure about what to wear, bring an alternate wardrobe option, and Michael can help you determine what will photograph best. Arrive with your hair and grooming as you would like them photographed, and most importantly, come ready to be guided through the session.

With Houston headshot photographer, Michael Carr Photography, you can expect a professional and efficient experience. The corporate headshot session begins with a portrait consultation to discuss your needs. We also offer clothing consultations prior to your business portrait session.

Throughout your corporate portrait session, Michael will guide you through a variety of poses so you look confident and approachable in your final images. You will have a variety of captures to choose from your session. After your business headshot session, we will view the images with you in our digital presentation room and help you select your final images. We will also discuss photo retouching and enhancements before your final digital files are delivered.

Absolutely. Michael provides personalized direction throughout your session, including posing, posture, camera angles and facial expression. He will make adjustments based on your features, body type and the look you want to achieve, so you never have to wonder what to do in front of the camera.

Yes, depending on the package you select. Each portrait package is designed around a specific style and purpose, with different options for posing, composition and overall look. Michael will guide you through the options included with your package and help you create the portrait that best fits your professional needs.

If you would like multiple looks and clothing changes, you should consider a Modern Casual Business Portrait or an Executive Personal Branding session.

A business headshot is typically a focused portrait designed for professional profiles, websites, LinkedIn and company directories.

An Executive Business Portrait offers more flexibility in composition, posing and presentation, allowing for a stronger sense of leadership and personal presence. Executive portraits may include 3/4-length or environmental portraits and are often used for leadership profiles, publications, marketing and corporate communications.

Yes. Michael photographs executives, physicians, attorneys and leadership teams for professional headshots, executive portraits and corporate communications. Sessions can be photographed in the studio or on location, with consistent lighting, posing and composition when photographing multiple members of a team.

Yes. We do offer on-location corporate headshots in Houston and the surrounding areas. Our Location Corporate headshot photography sessions have a minimum of $3,950 + tax.

Yes, in many cases. If you have an existing corporate headshot style you would like to match, please send us an example before booking your session. Michael will review the lighting, background, composition and overall style to confirm whether it can be recreated and determine the appropriate approach for your session.

Yes. Environmental and 3/4-length executive portraits are available with select packages. These portraits offer a different composition and presentation than a traditional business headshot and can be created in the studio or on location, depending on the selected package.

Yes. We photograph corporate teams and multiple employees, either in the studio or at your workplace. For larger groups, we can coordinate the photography schedule and maintain consistent lighting, posing and composition so each employee’s portraits have a cohesive look.

During your session, you will review a selection of portraits with Michael to ensure the images meet your expectations before concluding the photography portion of your session. Following the session, you will review your portraits and select your final selection. For corporate accounts, final files may be delivered directly to the company for distribution or provided to the individual, depending on the account arrangement.

If you cannot stay to select your final portrait, we can arrange for you to return to the studio at another time to review and select your image. If someone else will be helping you decide, they can join you by FaceTime or attend a scheduled appointment at the studio.

Yes. We can assist you with image selection at the studio. If you would like someone else’s opinion before choosing your final portrait, you can FaceTime them during your selection appointment or schedule another appointment when they can join you at the studio.

Your final image will be delivered electronically by email as a high-resolution JPEG (JPG) file. File size and dimensions depend on the package you select. Our standard file is 4 × 6 inches at 300 dpi JPG, suitable for professional use and printing. For corporate headshot accounts, the final image may be sent to the company for distribution, depending on the account arrangement.

Your final headshot will be professionally prepared and delivered within two business days after you make your image selection. For corporate accounts, delivery may be handled through the company depending on the account arrangement.

Payment is due when you book your session. A retainer is required to reserve your appointment, with the remaining balance handled according to the package you select.

Your retainer is non-refundable and reserves your scheduled appointment time.

Since we always review images with the client/subject as part of the session we do not have a return or exchange policy. We work with the subject to ensure that she/he is satisfied with the session and image(s) selected before leaving the studio.

If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied, communicate with the Houston Corporate Headshot Photographer immediately so the issue can be resolved during your session. There are no refunds or exchanges on headshot session fees or digital jpgs.

The professional headshot session and receipt of digital jpgs ordered represent a final sale.
