1. Do you help with wardrobe? I have no idea what to wear for my headshot promo.
Yes, we do! Wardrobe consultation is included in your session consultation once you book. We’ll talk about the best colors and outfits for your photos. You’ll also get a complete Wardrobe Guide when you book your session. We can talk about clothing during your session planning consultation. We are happy to help you in person or virtually! 2. I am nervous and have no idea how to pose. Can you help me during the headshot promo session?
Yes! Absolutely, that is one of the reasons you are coming to a professional photographer. We will direct you during your session, so you look natural and relaxed. Sessions are a fully guided experience and we will be there every step of the way. Finding the perfect photographer near me is easy when you know what to look for.
3. I loved my session and I’m excited! When will I see the images?
We’ll share sneak peeks during your session. For Custom Branding Sessions, we schedule Reveal & Ordering Appointments in person within 2-3 days after your session. All decision-makers need to be present. If someone can’t make it, we’ll find a time that works for everyone’s schedule. Please note that we do not offer online galleries. One Ordering Appointment is included with your session, but additional appointments may come with a fee. For Headshot Promos, we do same-day Reveal & Ordering Appointments. 4. Do I really need multiple images from my headshot promo?
Yes, you probably need images for more than one use, such as LinkedIn, your website, Facebook, Instagram, and even your email signature or speaking engagement bio. An image that looks great on LinkedIn might not grab attention on social media channels. Having a strong collection of updated professional business images in your marketing tool box, keeps you well prepared for print and media deadlines.
Our standard size is 4”x6” 300 dpi JPG. If your file size and requirements are different, please let us know.
5. Will you edit my images? I feel a bit self-conscious about my appearance.
Yes. We want your input and preferences for editing before the artist works on your images. We all know how strange overly edited photos can look. Our goal is to show the real you in your portraits and marketing materials, making people say “WOW!” We’ll talk about your preferred style to ensure you look like the best version of yourself. Our enhancements include small touch-ups, like stray hairs, blemishes, and clothing wrinkles. Finding the perfect photographer near me is easy when you know what to look for.
6. What is your rescheduling policy?
Communication is key. Staying on schedule helps us provide excellent service to you and all our clients. If you need to reschedule because of illness or an emergency, we understand that things come up. Since we reserve your date and time, your session fee is non-refundable. It can be applied to your new session date. There is a rescheduling fee of $250. Please keep in mind that we often book sessions and consultations one to two months in advance. Also, credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
